Framework’s Big Sleep Out 2021 is being held at Nottingham Racecourse, Colwick Park, Nottingham NG2 4BE on Saturday 27 November. Doors open 5pm-8pm and the event closes at 7.30am on Sunday 28 November.

All money raised at Framework’s Big Sleep Out will go towards our activities helping people to get off the streets, find safe and suitable accommodation and live stable and independent lives.

You should not sleep outside if you have a long-term health condition or are pregnant. Sleeping outside in the cold can be an uncomfortable experience, but as long as you are in good health, wear suitably warm clothing and remain dry, you will be perfectly safe. We take every step possible to ensure your safety during the event. Professional First aid and security teams will be onsite throughout the evening. In the event of unduly cold or wet weather, we will cancel the event.

Everyone attending Framework’s Big Sleep Out who is aged 11 or over must provide evidence of being Covid-free (see our Covid guidance for details) We have taken every possible step to ensure that Framework’s Big Sleep Out is a safe event. You should not attend Framework’s Big Sleep Out if you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (including coughing, breathlessness and loss of taste or smell) or have recently come into contact with anyone who has tested positive.

Yes, please do. Lots of seasoned sleep out attendees do this and it’s a great way to save time on the day. Feel free to bring your ready-made shelter in a flat pack format so that you can put it up quickly and enjoy the food and entertainment on offer.

For the security and safety of participants, you will not be allowed to enter the event without registering first on Please remember to bring your e-ticket with you on the night.

The gates to the Big Sleep Out will be locked at 10pm. All participants must remain within the event area after this time. If you do choose to leave after this time, please note that you will not be able to re-enter the event. Children (aged 5-15 years) will not be allowed to leave the event without a responsible adult.

No under 5s are allowed at Framework’s Big Sleep Out.

No dogs (except guide dogs) or any other pets are permitted at Framework’s Big Sleep Out.

Framework’s Big Sleep Out is an alcohol and drug-free event. Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted at Framework’s Big Sleep Out. By taking part in Framework’s Big Sleep Out you agree to the above terms and conditions.

All participants will need to register on Eventbrite in advance of the event. Group Leaders should register first and then invite individual group members to register as part of the group. Each group member will have an individual, named e-ticket. Group leaders should ensure these are distributed in advance of the event.

Participants take part in the Big Sleep Out at their own risk. Framework and Nottingham Racecourse cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal effects, for personal accidents, or for any injury or loss to third parties.

Please note that photography and video will be taking place for promotional purposes throughout the evening. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed at Framework’s Big Sleep Out please notify us when signing up on Eventbrite and we will ensure your image is excluded from any promotional activity.

All Eventbrite tickets for Framework’s Big Sleep Out are non-refundable. If due to unforeseen circumstances we are forced to cancel the event, people who have chosen the glamping option and already paid for tent hire will be offered a full refund of the amount paid towards tent hire only (up to a maximum of £450).
