Covid-19 frequently asked questions

Only people aged 11 and over will need to show proof of their Covid-19 status. They can take a Lateral Flow or PCR test, then report the result here and show the text/email upon entry. Children under the age of 11 will not need to show proof of their Covid-19 status to gain entry to Framework’s Big Sleep Out

You can order Lateral Flow tests here or PCR tests here for home delivery or you can collect them from your local chemist. If ordering online, please ensure you order these in good time to ensure they arrive in plenty of time to take a test within 48 hours prior to arriving at the event.

Once you have taken your test, you should report your result on the Government website here. You will then need to wait approximately two hours for the result to show up on your NHS Covid Pass. You will also receive a text and/or email notification confirming your negative test result, which you will need to present on entry if you cannot access the NHS Covid Pass.

If you get a positive lateral flow or PCR test result within 14 full days prior to the start of the Event, then do not come to Framework’s Big Sleep Out as you will NOT be permitted entry. You will need to follow government advice, which includes self-isolating.

If someone you reside with (or within any childcare or support bubble) gets a positive lateral flow or PCR test within 14 full days prior to the start of Framework’s Big Sleep Out, please do not come to the event as you will NOT be able to enter and you will need to follow government advice, including self-isolating.

If you develop symptoms of Covid-19 within 14 full days prior to the start of Framework’s Big Sleep Out please do not come to the event as you will NOT be able to enter and you should then undertake a PCR test and follow the current government guidance with regards to isolation.

Please follow the guidance above. If you have tested positive and are unable to attend, please email us at fundraising@frameworkha.org with evidence of your positive test and we will arrange a full refund of the glamping fee (please note, we are unable to offer refunds of the £10 Eventbrite registration fee).

We understand that some vaccine trials are unable to be registered via the NHS Covid Pass app, so we ask that you please provide proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken within 48 hours prior to arriving at the event. For more information regarding this please see above.

The offline NHS Covid Pass functionality has just been pushed out in the iOS app and there is now the much-requested option to add to apple wallet. Otherwise we would recommend you take a screenshot or print out your proof before departing for the event.

We will not be enforcing mask wearing but please bring one with you as there will be areas we will be encouraging people to wear a face covering in public indoor spaces, such as the children’s zone and cardboard storage zone. Please be considerate and mindful of others around you and understand that some people attending Framework’s Big Sleep Out might still choose to wear a face covering.

There will be hand sanitizing stations around the site. Otherwise, the event will be as close to normal as possible.
